Camp Mailing List

The UK hack camp mailing list is the central place for the camp community to stay in touch, plan their camp attendance, and discuss announcements and updates. The archive is public:

Sign up if you want to discuss your village, workshop, or other projects, or just generally to stay in touch with everyone's activities. To join the mailing list go to or email

Org Teams

Much of the basic camp infrastructure is being worked on in teams. There is a list of all our teams, with contact details on that page or the respective team's wiki page.

Also have a look at some of the open positions in our teams. If you want to help out please get in touch with the respective team, or email us at

Many of the key organisers and contributors can be reached on IRC. (Most of us are in the GMT timezone.)

If you've not used IRC before there are many tutorials out there for you. [1] [2] [3] [4]

If you're unsure of IRC etiquette, this guide might be worth a glance. More irritable users tend to get annoyed at away messages, so you may want to find out how to turn this off.

Weekly Planning Meetings

We hold weekly planning meetings every Monday, usually in a pub somewhere in London. The details are announced on IRC and the mailing list. If you want to help out you are very welcome to join us!

Further details and minutes of past meetings can be found on our Planning pages.
