The plan
Crotchet (and or hand tie) a massive hammock playground thing. Inspired by this we feel that what the camp could really do with is an utterly huge multiperson hammock playground thing to relax in.
Who?
Anyone willing to make a patch to be added to the hammock. The only requirement is that the patch is made to our specs this is to make sure that:
- It's safe
- We can use it
Other than that do what ever you want!
Spec
This is currently being organised but should be pretty simple, most likely only specifying a few simple points:
- material (possibly paracord as it's cheap and strong)
- maximum weave size (to avoid trapped fingers/things falling through)
- patch size (they need to fit together well)
The Backup
We realise that it might be a bit late to make enough patches to create something the size of the article so a likely midway point will be to get a fishing net and use that as the basis of the hammock and then embellish and work on that.
