Rail

Milton Keynes Central is on the Euston-Birmingham-West Coast mainline and suburban routes

The nearest major rail station is Milton Keynes Central on the West Coast Main Line.

On the Friday there are at least five services per hour from Euston; one non-stop (Virgin Trains) every hour between 0643 and 2143, the rest a mix of semi-fast and stopping (London Midland). In the southerly direction services there are regular services from Birmingham, Crewe, Stafford, and points north.

A PDF timetable can be downloaded here.

At present there are no announcements of engineering works on this line for the weekend of EMF camp.

Coach and Bus

bus routes near site

The nearest coach stop is Milton Keynes Coachway. This will be collection point for the shuttle bus to the site: train arrivals should use the frequent (six per hour) buses from outside the station to here. Off-site parking will also be located here.

Shuttle Bus

The shuttle bus is running on a more ad hoc basis now. It services the Coachway (for buses to Milton Keynes and beyond). The Coachway also has a free cashpoint that you can use.

If you require this service please ask at the HQ/info tent and we can arrange this.

If you'd rather walk to the camp site instead of waiting for the shuttle bus, you can take local bus 300, which is a frequent service (every 15 minutes), and get off at the area (Willen Lake) where the camp takes place. You should buy the ticket to Lovatt Fields. A single from the town centre to Lovatt Fields will cost you £1.50. Don't ask for 'Pineham Park' as few bus drivers have heard of the place. It's a nice stroll along 'Willen Lake' from the bus stop 'Lovatt Fields' on Portway (H5) to the camp site - one can also encounter many water birds.

A day bus ticket costs £3.90.
