The nearest major rail station is Milton Keynes Central on the West Coast Main Line.
On the Friday there are at least five services per hour from Euston; one non-stop (Virgin Trains) every hour between 0643 and 2143, the rest a mix of semi-fast and stopping (London Midland). In the southerly direction services there are regular services from Birmingham, Crewe, Stafford, and points north.

At present there are no announcements of engineering works on this line for the weekend of EMF camp.
Coach and Bus
The nearest coach stop is Milton Keynes Coachway. This will be collection point for the shuttle bus to the site: train arrivals should use the frequent (six per hour) buses from outside the station to here. Off-site parking will also be located here.
The shuttle bus is running on a more ad hoc basis now. It services the Coachway (for buses to Milton Keynes and beyond). The Coachway also has a free cashpoint that you can use.
If you require this service please ask at the HQ/info tent and we can arrange this.
If you'd rather walk to the camp site instead of waiting for the shuttle bus, you can take local bus 300, which is a frequent service (every 15 minutes), and get off at the area (Willen Lake) where the camp takes place. You should buy the ticket to Lovatt Fields. A single from the town centre to Lovatt Fields will cost you £1.50. Don't ask for 'Pineham Park' as few bus drivers have heard of the place. It's a nice stroll along 'Willen Lake' from the bus stop 'Lovatt Fields' on Portway (H5) to the camp site - one can also encounter many water birds.
A day bus ticket costs £3.90.

The Grand Union canal passes approximately 1km west of the campsite, on the other side of Willen Lake.
The site is adjacent to Junction 14 of the M1. Exit towards Milton Keynes Central on the A509 (Portway), turning right at the first and the second roundabouts into V11 Tongwell Street. The entrance to the site is on your left and will be staffed. If you have reserved parking on-site then you will be shown where to go; if you are using the free off-site parking you will be able to enter to drop off but must then leave for the Coachway parking, from where our shuttle bus will return you to site. If you prefer you may park at coachway first and catch our shuttle bus to the site.
